Evergreen Lake Stables is a small horse-boarding facility adjacent to Oak Openings park, just outside of Toledo, Ohio.  We are a group of self-sufficient horse owners who just enjoy our horses. We play with Natural Horsemanship, and ride English and Western. Some of the boarders occasionally go to shows, but most often, you’ll find us riding our horses on the trails. Sara Thierry, manager, was certified in Dressage and Eventing through the American Riding Instructor’s Association 2002-2005.

We cater to self-sufficient horse owners who want to have their horse in their back yard but don’t have a big enough backyard.  We do not cater to high-maintenance people and horses. We expect boarders to clean up after themselves, and help out around the barn when they can.
